Energy Waste Reduction and Sustainability Services
The site is under construction
The RESTART Institute is a non-profit organization that employs retired professionals to provide energy waste reduction and sustainability services to the manufacturing and commercial sectors. The aim is to help these sectors move towards a low carbon future, while also remaining competitive in the marketplace, and creating and retaining jobs.
Assistance
The primary objective is to achieve consistent high client cost savings to program expenditure ratios by offering meaningful on-site technical assistance. This assistance includes technical capabilities that incorporate advanced, innovative, or expert energy and sustainability systems, approaches, and software tools into program services. The activities that are covered include maximizing energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption, promoting sustainable manufacturing practices, and lowering operational costs
Implementation
In addition to assistance, the RESTART Institute also provides project implementation assistance to carry-out projects resulting from a RESTART assessment, internal assessment, or third-party assessment, and serve as an owner's representative.
Special Services
We also offer special services such as source reduction planning assistance, detailed cost analyses, process mapping, extensive research, evaluation of behind-the-meter storage and backup generation, help applying for grants, and technical services to assist organizations in implementing cost-saving projects. The organization also provides student mentoring and training.
